Lyla

Position:

Unqualified Nursery Practitioner

About Me:

I’m Lyla! I’m currently studying for my foundation degree in Performing Arts. Alongside my studies, I work with children’s theatre and youth theatre, which has really strengthened my passion for supporting and inspiring young people.

I’m a fun, caring, and creative person who loves bringing energy and imagination into everything I do. Singing, dancing, and storytelling are a big part of my life, and I enjoy using these skills to engage children in playful and meaningful ways. I believe that creativity is a powerful tool for learning, helping children to grow in confidence, communication, and self-expression. I’m also reliable, approachable, and enthusiastic, and I enjoy working as part of a team to create a positive and nurturing environment for every child. I’m always eager to learn, develop my skills, and make a positive difference in the lives of the children I work with. I’m also patient, approachable, and a great team player, always willing to support both children and colleagues.

Why I work with children and why I love my role

I absolutely love working with children and find it incredibly rewarding to be part of their growth, confidence, and creativity. I’m a fun, energetic, and caring person who enjoys creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and free to express themselves. I also have experience working with neurodivergent children, and I always aim to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and understood.

With my background in performing arts, I bring lots of creativity into everything I do. I enjoy singing, dancing, storytelling, and using imaginative play to help children learn and develop in a way that feels exciting and natural to them.

I’m passionate about helping every child build confidence, explore their individuality, and most importantly, have fun while learning.

An interesting fact about me

An interesting fact about me is that my university (which is also an inclusive performing arts theatre) appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and received the Golden Buzzer, taking us all the way to the semi-finals - which was such an exciting and unforgettable experience!
