We’re just next door to Featherstone Wood Primary School and opposite the local park. The A602 is just a short drive away giving good access to A1(M). We have huge garden to explore and love to get the children out into the fresh air to learn about and respect nature, jump in muddy puddles, learn about growing or simply run to burn off some energy! We feel it is so important to experience nature, freedom to explore and have a chance to be an inquisitive child in today’s world of technology. We aim for every child to have flown a kite, made a stick wand, discovered the woods, jumped through huge puddle and grown some vegetables before they leave us. We want to give our children adventures. We are passionate that in a World that is ever changing with increasing technology, every child should have a chance to experience the natural environment and explore the great outdoors in their early years. Our indoor environment will be warm and cosy with wooden high quality furniture and curiosity provoking activities to ignite children wonder to explore. Home cooked meals will be offered as we all sit together and enjoy our meals in a family like atmosphere. Staff will be highly trained and encouraged to build on their own development, which will benefit both them and our children

As a new nursery, we are continuously looking for ways to improve and evolve. With Astwick Monkey Puzzle as my first nursery, I have discovered and learnt what works well, and now I am so excited to have a second nursery in my own community.
