Alisha

Position:

Room Leader

About Me:

My name is Alisha, and I have been working in childcare for over 17 years. I’ve always had a passion for working with children, and that passion began early, spending five years as a teenager in a nursery setting. I then went on to work in a hospital, caring for children from birth to their teenage years. These experiences showed me just how important it is to give children the best possible start in life, through nurturing care and a stimulating, supportive environment.

I’m driven by the joy of seeing children thrive and grow. I truly believe in the power of child-led play, outdoor learning, and taking time to observe and celebrate every developmental milestone. Creating a safe, loving, and educational environment where children feel happy, confident, and curious is at the heart of everything I do.

On a personal note, I’ve been married for 14 years and am a proud mum to three wonderful boys. Being a parent has only deepened my understanding and appreciation for early childhood development, and I bring that care and perspective into my work every day. I am very creative and love to read. My love of reading painting, drawing and dance is embedded in my learning style with the children.

A interesting fact about me…. I love to learn languages.
