Room Leader

Hi, I’m Charlotte, the Room Lead in Acorns.

I’ve been part of the Monkey Puzzle team since June 2025, and I’ve worked in childcare for 16 years - and I still absolutely love what I do! Supporting young children in their early years is something I’m truly passionate about.

I love nurturing children to reach their full potential, with a strong focus on building their self‑confidence and self‑esteem. I do this through lots of fun, engaging activities that are led by the children’s interests, as I believe learning is most meaningful when children are excited and involved.

I’m completed training in children’s mindfulness, yoga, and meditation, which allows me to support children’s emotional wellbeing and help them develop calmness and awareness in a gentle, age‑appropriate way. I’m also very passionate about outdoor learning, as children gain so much through nature and hands‑on experiences. In the future, I would love to train in Forest School to further develop my skills in this area.

Outside of nursery, I love travelling and have been lucky enough to visit over 36 countries so far - something that inspires my curiosity and creativity every day.
